DecaArchitecture carves holistic spa into Greek mountain
This cavernous 3,000-square-metre spa by DecaArchitecture is located within a building that is carved into the base of a mountain in Mystras, Greece.Billed as the first holistic wellness destination spa retreat in Greece, the Euphoria spa sits between a cypress forest and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mystras – an important Byzantine landmark.Its dramatic interior has been shortlisted for a Dezeen Award in the Leisure and wellness interior category.

New age Μυστράς πολλών αστέρων
Κάτω από το Κάστρο του Μυστρά, στο κέντρο της εσωτερικής κυκλικής πισίνας με βάθος 3,5 μέτρα, ήχοι βυθού και δελφινιών σηματοδοτούν μια επιστροφή στη «μήτρα», στην αρχή όλων μας. Λίγες υδάτινες «δρασκελιές» αρκούν για να βρεθεί κανείς στα νερά της εξωτερικής πισίνας, κάτω από δέντρα και με θέα τους λακωνικούς κάμπους. Εδώ ενώνεται το «πυρ» με το «ύδωρ», το «γινγκ» με το «γιανγκ».
